You, brother, who are listening to me, are you still dreaming? And you, sister? Or has your dream faded away?
Have you kept your dream’s torch alight or have you let it wane, amid the law’s aridity or in incredulity’s swamp, until it was extinguished?
Perhaps you keep saying in your heart:
“It’s never going to happen.”
Well, dear brother, you may need my example:
Thank God, I am still dreaming at my venerable age, and I wish to keep on dreaming. I pray to God to be able to dream day by day, until that blessed day when I will peacefully leave this earth.
Or better, I ardently hope that I will be able to have my best dreams during my last 3 or 4 breaths, and that some of you will be at my side to collect those fragments, put them together and walk with them for the glory of Christ and His Church. I will see you in Paradise… this is my hope.
